Crazy Insane or Insane Crazy?

What a trip, eh? It's so bizarre to reflect on the last few years.  Recently tried to remember the classes you took your first semester (look left!)?  I barely can.  I had Biol 100, Career Exploration, English 150... um, wow seriously? That's hard.  It's mostly strange because I'm pretty sure most of the classes I took my first couple semesters I remember almost nothing about (clearly, if I can't even remember taking them). And because I'm me, I feel the need to quantify my memories.  Therefore, since moving to Provo, I've:
  • Lived in three apartments
  • Had 20 roommates
  • Become an aunt
  • Spent approximately 225 days in lecture and 340 days doing homework
  • Done over 500 loads of laundry
  • Attended 40 (give or take) NCAA games
  • Visited the hospital 6 times (none for myself)
And a bunch of other stuff, too.  So all in all, I've enjoyed the journey.  It still feels a little weird to say I've graduated with a bachelor's degree--sometimes I still feel like I'm eleven years old, or something.  The diploma is real, though, and completely tangible.  Starting grad school in the fall will be the next big adventure, I suppose.  It'll mean all kinds of new things and eventually (hopefully), take me out of Utah.  That's something to celebrate.

(to steal a line from Celes) Boo-yah, grandma!

Is that your abuelita in the picture with you? If it is, she is precious.

And so are you. Look at my lil' Karen all grown up in her BYU blue gown. So cute. =)

We'll talk soon I'm sure. But yes, I second the whole new opportunity to "take you out of Utah"...perhaps a faraway place with warm beaches and a pretty lil' spanish-mission-style temple ;)
